Here is a very informative website on ingredients that are present in vaccines, and why you should really get to know them.
‘Center for Disease Control and Prevention suggests a one size fits all strategy when it comes to vaccinating infants, many doctors agree that unless there is a known risk involved, most of the vaccines are unnecessary. For instance currently, newborns receive Hepatitis B shots as soon as they’re born and before their discharge from the hospital. Hepatitis B is spread through sexual activity, infected needles, sharing razors or toothbrush, contact with an infected person.
Dr. Richard Frye, a neurologist and pediatrician at the Medical University of Texas disagrees and expresses concern about this CDC recommendation; “I’ve never understood why we give this at birth.” Many pediatricians believe that not all disease is created equal and each infant should only be vaccinated if at risk. “I don’t know any babies who have sex or share needles” Dr. Traver of Foster City said, unless the mother is infected this vaccine is not only useless, but harmful.’
Please educate yourself before you vaccinate your infants.
This is an example of what corrective care chiropractors are doing. A 5 year old patient diagnosed with ADHD and treated by a pediatrician with methylphenidate (Ritalin), Adderall, and Haldol since he’s been 2 years old and without any success other than the side effects that may have affected his nervous system negatively. He gets under the care of a corrective care chiropractor and he recognizes the lack of curve in his Cervical spine (neck) that are stretching the nerves inside of the spinal cord that communicate with his brain. An 8 week treatment of his spine and his facial tics are resolved nd his behavior has vastly improved. At visit 27, he is taken off the medication by his pediatrician because he no longer has ADHD symptoms. Magic? no. Simple physiology of the spine and the nervous system? yes.
The changes in structure and function may be related to the correction of his cervical curve (neck curve). If your child is suffering from or has been diagnosed with ADHD, try chiropractic before you count on medication with lots of horrible side effects for your child.
Today, CDC announced that more parents are refusing vaccinations for their new born. In 2002 and 2003 only 22 percent of parents opted for delayed or no vaccines whereas in 2008, almost 40 percent of parents in America have made the educated decision of not vaccinating their kids. I guess I’m not surprised at the fact that this fact didn’t make the news. Of course if more and more parents were refusing vaccination and that was on the news, then even more families would be educated on dangers of vaccines and the pharmaceutical companies who invest in vaccines would not very happy.
Please educate yourself before you vaccinate your kids!

That was the topic of an article that caught my eye this morning, followed by the fact that children who take ADD/ADHD medication have significantly higher blood pressure.
This article is based on research that has compared kids with ADHD who take prescription medication for their condition and those who avoid the drugs all together. It claims that the children taking medication were doing poorly in school by 10 times than the kids who have ADHD and were not taking medication. This study also indicated that at age 14 the medication group had higher blood pressure and an increased risk for heart attacks, stroke as well as depression. Is it worth it?
The newest study on influenza vaccine and its effectiveness on children came out on October of 2008. This study was done for two continual seasons and involved over 5000 children between 6 and 59 months. This research was unable to show any significant effectiveness in preventing influenza in patients younger than 5 years old. The author of this study noted “the U.S. and several other countries have expanded their childhood influenza vaccination recommendations in response to evidence that influenza causes morbidity in children” this assumption has not been proven and is simply wrong. There is little research on influenza within children and effectiveness of vaccines. This 2008 study puts things in perspective when it comes to giving the influenza vaccine to your children. Build stronger immune systems, healthier diets, and a powerful nervous system in order to keep your children away from the flu. Vaccines are not the answer!
